Thank you for visiting Grace Bound Books!  However you stumbled upon our site, we don't believe it was an accident and are glad you dropped by.  We are a homeschooling family of six.  Our youngest son Jeremiah was first diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome when he was four and re-diagnosed with infantile autism when he was nine.  In addition to Jerry's autism, he has epilepsy and struggles with poor visual motor and perception, as well as a deficit in his short-term memory capabilities.  As you can surely guess, teaching Jeremiah has its ongoing challenges!  

Since then, it has been our goal to tailor his curriculum to provide him with the best education and opportunities possible for a chance at a future that we pray glorifies God.  The unit studies we have written for Jerry incorporate basic readiness and early learning skills with the life skills and character development he'll need to prayerfully function independently in our world someday.

We base our unit studies on what interests Jeremiah most at the time they are written...from monster trucks to community helpers to Dr. Seuss and more.  

For whatever reason you have decided to visit our site, we thank you, pray it has served you well, and may our Savior Jesus Christ richly bless you as you live out the adventure He has for you.  Please know that Jerry's autism does not define our family or him, but believing in God's sovereignty and the truths found in Romans 8:28, we created Grace Bound books to fulfill the very plans and purposes we believe God has called us to.
